Calmivet Inject 50ml
FORMULATION
Each mL contains Acepromazine as Maleate, equivalent to 5 mg.
INDICATION
For tranquilization and pre-anesthesia.
DOSAGE
For horses, cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs, dose per 100 kg body weight:
Mild tranquilization: 1 mL by I.V. injection.
Pre-anesthesia: 2 mL by I.M. injection.
Forced tranquilization: 2 mL by I.V. injection or 4 mL by I.M. injection.
For dogs and cats, dose per 100 kg body weight:
Mild tranquilization: 0.5 mL by I.V. injection.
Pre-anesthesia: 0.5 mL by I.M. injection.
Forced tranquilization: 1 mL by I.V. or I.M. injection.

ADMINISTRATION
I.V.: Short period of latency 5 - 7 minutes
I.M.: Latency of 20 - 30 minutes
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Meat: 4 days
Do not use in milking females, milk of which is intended for human consumption.
Do not overdose.
