FORMULATION
Each m contains:
Oxytocin (synthetic) 201U
INDICATION
Used for speeding expulsion of the fetus when uterine inertia is diagnosed. After parturibon, it aids the expulsion of placental debris and promotes involution and control uterine bleeding; facilitates collection of milk samples, helps in milk letdown and also useful in treating mastitis in cattle and aids to express all infected milk from the quarters prior to introducing chemotherapeutics.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
During parturition, via deep intramuscular (IM) injection
Mares/Cows: 3mL - 6 mL
Cows: 1 to 2mL
Sheep/Goat: 1 to 2mL
Bitches/Queen: 0.25 mL - 0,5 mL
Thru intravenous (V) injection: % the amount of IM dose diluted
1:10 with sterile water for injection
