Phenylbutazone 20% 100ml
Phenylbutazone is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) belonging to the pyrazolone group. Phenylbutazone inhibits the biosynthesis of PGE2 and PGF2α.
Indications:
Inflammation and acute or chronic pain associated with musculoskeletal conditions in horses, cattle and swine.
DOSAGE:
For very slow intravenous administration.
The recommended dose is no more than 4.4 mg phenylbutazone per kg body weight.
Horses, cattle and swine - up to 1 ml per 45 kg body weight per day for no more than 5 days.
